How Cushion Foundation Worked Out For Me
RECENTLY, I’VE NOTICED THAT CUSHION foundation is slowly making its way to the market. Maybelline is the first beauty brand that I saw introduced this new form of foundation. And it actually piqued my interest and curiosity on how it will compete with liquid foundation. I mean, liquid foundations are easy to work with. And they are just super blendable.
Fortunately, I no longer need to wonder because I am able to test out a cushion foundation myself. I got this Korean product with a very elegant packaging, in my opinion. The box includes a refill pack with another sponge. Totally budget-friendly.
This cushion foundation comes with two sponges. Honestly, I think this sponge is the softest sponge that ever touches my skin.
The cushion itself has a scent of Tea Tree Oil. It actually made me feel like I’m putting such good product on my face. And we all know what that oil does to our skin.
Anyway, I got the shade medium beige. Unfortunately, it is far from beige. I thought that it would look too dark but it’s actually too light. So, I had to do a little contour here and there to make it work.
The product did cover blemishes and some spots but it is just way too sticky and cakey on the face. If you want full coverage, you would have to apply some more but as I said, it will give you this heavy feeling and I don’t think it would be comfortable at all. On the brighter side, it stays all day.
It’s alright. I would use it if it has my right shade and if I run out of liquid foundations or any foundations. I would recommend it to those who don’t need much coverage or has fair skin.
Anyhoo, how about you guys, any Korean Foundation that worked out well?
