Thoughts On Nichido Pressed Powder

FOR SOMEONE WHO is too oily for her liking, looking for the right finish pressed powder has been a pain in my bottom. Whenever I have dilemmas about what products to use, I turned to my trusted beauty bloggers and vloggers. And one of those vloggers mentioned numerous times how Nichido (a Filipino drugstore makeup brand) helps her face oil-free for the entire day. Knowing that this brand is cheap, I didn’t waste time and head on to the beauty counters myself.

I couldn’t quite remember but I think they have three shades available and I am in the shade TAN. I’ve already mentioned here that some Filipino drugstore makeup products are way too lighter than it should be. So, the shade TAN is actually lighter and matches my skin perfectly.

The saleslady was trying to convince me that it’s perfect for oily skin and that it is their bestseller. But I’m not the kind of person that gets sold from that, I would like to try it myself. Just to give you guys a little hint on how oily skinned I am, on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest), I’m 4, with or without makeup.

I can say that this actually works for me. I’ve been using this for months now and it does keep me oil-free when I wear makeup. It doesn’t make my face cakey. It sure can’t be worn alone if you have the same skin as I am, marks and open pores because it doesn’t cover at all.

My final thoughts? For the price it offers, it sure is worth the try (and fuzz).
